Thales' theorem.
The students deduced the Thales' theorem through paper folding. They made different foldings. We could take advantage of the activity to explain concepts like staight lines, points, segments and parallel lines.
Pythagoras' theorem
We used an easy and common Origami construction (a boat) to explain the Pythagoras' theorem. After unfolding the boat we can find out different right-angled triangles and squares. Therefore, observing a single triangle the students could draw the squares formed from each side of the triangle.
